This bright, welcoming cafe in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorms National Park offers a great selection of well-presented, homemade vegan dishes.
I could see from the menu that there were a few good vegan options and upon arriving I was happy to see lots more on their specials board. We chose from around seven options. I had a vegan ploughman’s, which was interesting and tasty with homemade falafel and beetroot hummus as well as local chutney, vegan feta and a balsamic-glazed fruity salad. My partner had a spicy falafel burger with vegan slaw. Other dishes included epic-looking sweet potato and chickpea sausage rolls, doorstopper sandwiches, hearty salads, filled breakfast rolls and soup. We finished with excellent slices of citrus St Clement’s cake.
An outside deck area is perfect for sunny days and indoors a stove keeps you cosy when the weather turns chilly. There is also a selection of local crafts for you to browse.
This cafe is great so it is busy, depending when you plan to visit I’d recommend booking.
