Set on a leafy corner just off Inverness High Street, you can enjoy wholesome and flavoursome vegetarian and vegan breakfasts and lunches in Velocity’s light filled, relaxed café.
Current menu includes, in my opinion, the best vegan cooked breakfast in Inverness or pancakes with seasonal berry compote, fresh berries, seeds and syrup. And, as the menu states, nearly all items can be made vegan upon request.
There are plenty of gluten-free options too and the menu is clearly marked.
Velocity also has regular vegan tapas nights, and hosts different groups from mending social sessions and environmental get togethers to fermenting workshops. Keep an eye on their noticeboard for details of local groups and events.
Bonus points for: Entirely vegetarian and vegan, plus Velocity is a social enterprise so as well as enjoying coffee and cake you may want to get your bike fixed up or take part in some of their community projects.
