Do you like cakes? Do you see the selection of sweet vegan scrumptiousness in this picture? Cup & Cone also have savoury options, but it’s really all about the sugar hit here for me.
Located in the Crown area of Inverness on a bright corner spot, you can enjoy a great selection of cakes, sorbets as well as ready made sandwiches to eat-in or takeaway. Vegan and gluten-free options are clearly marked.
On our most recent visit the vegan cakes were a Nutella brownie (also gluten free), carrot cake, Biscoff white chocolate cookies, Bakewell tart, pumpkin spice blondie, chocolate fudge cupcakes and Biscoff loaf. Current vegan savoury options are a jumbo sausage roll and a roasted pepper, sun-dried tomato, pesto and Violife cheese ciabatta (which are also available from The Original Milk Bar on Ness Walk if you’re on the other side of town). They also use (and sell) a special Milk Bar roast from Inverness Coffee Roasting.
